A Oak Hills High School student was arrested for making a bomb threat Wednesday.

A 15-year-old student was arrested after leaving a bomb threat at a Green Township school Wednesday.

"Basically, a student dropped a note on the floor at the school indicating there was a bomb planted by other people that would be going off at 4:30 (p.m)," said Green Township Police Chief Bart West.

Police responded to Oak Hills High School, but quickly determined the note was "just a big hoax," West said.

"I think he was trying to just mess with the other kids listed in the letter," the chief said.

Police found no evidence of a bomb or other explosive devices at the school. Students were not evacuated.

The juvenile student was arrested and charged with inducing panic, West said.
