The Reds will play exhibition games in Montreal on April 3 and 4.

Reds beat writer C. Trent Rosecrans sits down with Grantland.com's Jonah Keri for a cup of coffee and a chat about the upcoming season, why he hates every team (including the Reds), the 1994 Montreal Expos and the rise of the Pittsburgh Pirates in the latest edition of the C. Dot Show Podcast.

Keri is not only a staff writer at Grantland.com, but also the author of two books, "The Extra 2%: How Wall Street Strategies Took a Major League Baseball Team From Worst to First," and "Up, Up, & Away: The Kid, the Hawk, Rock, Vladi, Pedro, le Grand Orange, Youppi!, the Crazy Business of Baseball, and the Ill-fated but Unforgettable Montreal Expos." The Expos book is out today in paperback in book stores across the country.

In addition to Expos talk, we discuss the Reds' trip to Montreal and the possibility of baseball returning there in the future, something Keri sees as a possibility. He also references an article he wrote about Paul Maholm a couple of years ago, you can read it here.

We thankfully don't discuss the Joey Votto approach debate.
