River expected to remain at flood stage for days

The Enquirer
Drew's On The River Sports Bar and Grill at 4333 River Road, has water almost to the roof.

The worst of the rain and flooding appears to be over.

The Ohio River measured at 57.7 feet at 5 a.m. Sunday – 5 feet above flood stage.

The National Weather Service predicted the river would crest at 57.8 feet Sunday morning and then begin to fall in the afternoon.

The river will likely remain at a moderate flood state until Monday evening and a minor flood state until Thursday evening.

Some cities and towns reported flooding Saturday morning, and the Red Cross opened two shelters for families displaced by flooding.
